  • 호주(Australia)에 소재한 Elite English AU가 본 서비스에서 처리되는 개인정보의 관리자(data controller)입니다.

2. Personal data collection · 수집하는 개인정보 항목

  • Purchase and account data: email address, name (optional), order number, amount and currency paid, and the access code issued. 구매·계정 정보: 이메일 주소, 이름(선택), 주문번호, 결제 금액·통화, 발급된 입장 코드.
  • 결제 정보: 결제 수단의 마지막 4자리·국가·청구지 정보는 Paddle이 처리하며, 당사는 전체 카드번호를 보관하지 않습니다.
  • Learning data: weekly progress, quiz scores, submitted assignments and feedback history. 학습 정보: 주차별 진행률, 퀴즈 점수, 과제 제출·피드백 내역.
  • Enquiry data: the message and contact details you enter in our contact form. 문의 정보: 문의 폼에 입력한 내용과 연락처.
  • Technical data: access country (used for regional pricing/display), browser language and error logs. 기술 정보: 접속 국가(광고 노출 지역 판별용), 브라우저 언어, 오류 로그.

3. Purposes and legal basis · 이용 목적과 법적 근거

  • Contract performance: processing payment, issuing access codes, running the study room and delivering 1:1 check-ins. 계약 이행: 결제 처리, 입장 코드 발급, 스터디룸 이용, 1:1 점검 제공.
  • Legal obligation: keeping tax and accounting records and handling refunds and disputes. 법적 의무: 세금·회계 기록 보관, 환불 및 분쟁 처리.
  • Legitimate interest: improving service quality and preventing abuse and refund fraud. 정당한 이익: 서비스 품질 개선, 부정 이용·환불 남용 방지.
  • Consent: sending optional notification emails such as expiry reminders. 동의: 만료 안내 등 선택적 안내 메일 발송.

4. Data sharing and processors · 제3자 제공 및 처리 위탁

  • Cloud database and hosting providers — data storage required to operate the service. 클라우드 데이터베이스·호스팅 제공자 — 서비스 운영을 위한 데이터 저장.
  • Speech and translation AI providers — used to generate pronunciation audio and multilingual translations (only lesson content text is sent). 음성·번역 AI 제공자 — 학습용 발음 오디오와 다국어 번역 생성(학습 콘텐츠 텍스트만 전송).
  • We never sell personal data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes. 위 목적 외의 판매·광고 목적 제3자 제공은 하지 않습니다.

5. Data retention · 보관 기간

  • Payment and tax records: retained for up to 5 years as required by law. 결제·세무 기록: 관련 법령에 따라 최대 5년 보관.
  • Learning progress records: deleted 12 months after the access code expires. 학습 진행 기록: 입장 코드 만료 후 12개월 보관 뒤 삭제.
  • Enquiry records: retained for 24 months after the case is closed. 문의 내역: 처리 완료 후 24개월 보관.

6. User rights and international transfers · 이용자 권리

  • You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or data portability at any time via the contact above. 열람·정정·삭제·처리 정지·이동 요청은 언제든지 위 문의처로 요청할 수 있습니다.
  • Verified requests are handled within 30 days, except for data we are legally required to retain. 요청은 확인 후 30일 이내에 처리하며, 법령상 보관 의무가 있는 정보는 예외입니다.
  • International transfers: personal data may be transferred abroad depending on where our payment and hosting providers operate, protected by lawful safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. 국외 이전: 결제·호스팅 제공자의 서버 소재지에 따라 개인정보가 국외로 이전될 수 있으며, 표준계약조항 등 적법한 보호 장치를 적용합니다.

7. Cookies · 쿠키

  • We only use cookies for the essential study-room session (used instead of a login) and to remember your language setting. 로그인 대신 사용하는 스터디룸 세션 쿠키(필수)와 언어 설정 저장에만 쿠키를 사용합니다.
  • We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. 광고·추적 목적의 제3자 쿠키는 사용하지 않습니다.

8. Security · 보안

  • We apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards including HTTPS encryption in transit, least-privilege access and admin authentication. 전송 구간 암호화(HTTPS), 접근 권한 최소화, 관리자 인증 등 적절한 기술적·관리적 보호조치를 적용합니다.
  • Card details are never stored on our servers; Paddle processes them to PCI standards. 결제 카드 정보는 당사 서버에 저장되지 않으며 Paddle이 PCI 기준에 따라 처리합니다.
